Timely disinfection of alginate impressions is of great importance, models on which must be made in the shortest possible time due to the possibility of shrinkage - reducing the size of the impression.

The disinfection of wax bases with bite rollers, wax structures made by direct method in the patient's oral cavity, must be done in such a way that the wax is not deformed in its process. If deformation of wax parts occurs, the orthopedic constructions made with their help will be untenable.
