    Job description of the nurse of the intensive care unit

    I. General part

    The nurse of the intensive care unit is assigned a person with a secondary medical education that has received special training.     II.Responsibilities of

    3. Counts the pulse, breathes, measures the daily amount of urine, phlegm, etc., puts these data on the surveillance map.

    4. Immediately informs the attending physician-resuscitator about the sudden deterioration of the patient's condition.

    5. Produces blood from the vein for biochemical studies, delivers it to the laboratory.

    6. Conducts a complex of primary resuscitation measures.

    7. Surrenders at the bedside of patients.

    8. Prepare corpses of the deceased for transfer to the morgue.

    9. Raises its professional qualification by studying medical literature, attending scientific and practical conferences for nurses and participating in the competition for the title "Best in profession".

    III.Rights

    The nurse of the intensive care unit is entitled to:
