Job Description of the Nurse of the Admissions Office
I. General part of
A person with secondary medical education is appointed to the position of the nurse of the admission department. Appointment and dismissal is performed by the head physician of the hospital upon presentation of the head of the department in accordance with the current legislation. The nurse of the admissions department reports directly to the senior nurse and the doctor of the admission department. In its work, it is guided by the orders of higher officials.
II.Duties of
1. Carries out reception and registration of the arrived patients.
2. Conducts inspection and initial examination and diagnostics.
3. In its work is guided by the basic rules:
• compliance with the principles of medical deontology;
• carrying out hygienic treatment of hands before and after contact with the patient, even with small medical interventions;
• observes calmness and endurance, soothes the patient.
4. Conducts sanitary-hygienic treatment of newly arrived patients.
5. Conducts treatment of medical supplies with disinfectants.
6. Provides qualified medical care, with urgent conditions - pre-medical care.
7. When appointing a physician conducts the necessary manipulations.
8. Organizes a primary collection of blood and urine tests, ensures the delivery of biological material to the laboratory.
9. Maintains approved medical accounting and reporting documentation.
10. Carries out transportation of patients to the treatment departments of the hospital.
III.Rights
The nurse of the admissions department has the right:
1. In the absence of a doctor, provide emergency first aid to patients.
2. To improve their professional qualifications in the established order.
3. Give instructions to the nurse and monitor their performance.
4. Obtain information necessary for the performance of their duties.
IV.Responsibility of the
The nurse of the admissions department is responsible for the unclear or untimely performance of duties stipulated by the internal labor regulations of the hospital.
