Violations of urination - Causes, symptoms and treatment. MF.
On the condition of the sexual apparatus, women can be affected by diseases of neighboring organs and, conversely, certain pathological changes in the reproductive system can cause various disorders of the organs of the urinary system and rectum.
When the disease of the urinary system is observed the following symptoms:
Pain , more often cutting, when urinating ( painful to write, painful urinate) is observed with inflammatory diseases of the bladder and urethra. Pain in the beginning of urination is typical of urethritis( including gonorrhea), and in the end - for inflammatory processes in the bladder( cystitis).
Delayed urination is often the result of postoperative or postpartum bladder paresis. It can be observed after a trauma of the bladder or urethra, if it is infringed by a tumor originating from the genital organs, and also as a result of prolapse and reversal of the uterus.
Urinary incontinence( enuresis) can be complete( with genitourinary fistula) and partial, arising only when straining( with the ovulation and prolapse of the uterus and vaginal walls, with a general decrease in muscle tone, with severe exhausting diseases in senile age).
A change in the color of urine may be due to an impurity in the urine of the blood( hematuria) or pus( pyuria). With pus, urine becomes cloudy, with flakes. When settling, a precipitate forms in it. It is characteristic that the admixture of pus in the first portions of urine is characteristic for of urethritis .When cystitis , on the contrary, pus is contained in the last portions of urine. With severe pyelitis or a break in the bladder abscess of neighboring organs, total pyuria( the content of pus in all portions of urine) is observed. Darkening of the urine may indicate an increased content of bilirubin in it as a consequence of liver disease.
Hematuria( presence of blood in urine ) may be caused by various causes. The source of bleeding may be in any part of the urinary tract. When the urethra is injured during catheterization, the hematuria develops sharply, fresh erythrocytes are detected in the urine. In renal stone disease hematuria is accompanied by attacks of renal colic. Hematuria is also possible in malignant tumors and kidney tuberculosis.
In case of hematuria, urine should be taken for examination by a catheter, since during urination urine can get blood from the vagina.
Painful urination and frequent urination may be a symptom of cystitis. Cystitis in no case can not be started, it is urgent to see a doctor to find out the cause of cystitis and treatment.
Urine cloudiness, is an odor of urine also requires medical examination.
