Sewing soft toys is very exciting. There are books on tilda-mastery, which most recently appeared in the translation into Russian. To make a toy "Tilda" is not difficult. For example, a tilde snail pattern, work on which is detailed below, will be able to even beginner needlewomen.

How to sew a snail will be discussed below.

For Tilda style, natural textile material is usually taken: linen, coarse calico, knitwear. Our cochlea will be sewn from flax flesh and blue. Still need lace, acrylic paints, sintepon for packing.

Pattern to translate into paper and cut. The number of each part is indicated by numbers in the photo. Details to circle on the fabric: a sink on a blue cloth, the body to make beige.

Fold the material in two layers and lay the machine stitch along the contour of the pattern.

Cut out parts of the cochlea as shown in the picture.

Remove through non-drilled holes left for this purpose. Smooth out the details with an iron.

Tightly fill parts of the cochlea with a padding. It is convenient to do this with a stick.

Apply a blind stitch.

Pin the shell to the body with pins, stitch it with stitches.

Now draw eyes, give a blush to the cheeks and tie a bow.

Pillow the snail is sewn using any patterns according to the technology described above. The distinctive features are as follows:

1. The details of the pattern in full size are printed on large format sheets.
2. The lower surface is provided with allowances to insert the zipper.
3. The pillow can be stuffed with sintepon, sawdust and other fillers or used as pillowcases, for example, for a cushion pillow, and only horns and a nose can be made bulky.

We'll do this snail.

Prepared:

• The fabric for the body of the cochlea is solid beige or brown and for the "house" it is colored.
• Filler.
• Plank.
• Sewing materials.
• Adhesive.
• Paint for fabric.

Download and print the pattern of the body. For the shell, draw a strip of paper 40 × 4 cm on the paper.

The body is transferred to the fabric, stitched and cut. In the figure, the arrows indicate places for incisions.

Fill the body, flush the base over the edge.

Cut out the shell, leaving the allowance of 5 mm, and fill, only loose, then it is convenient to wrap it in a spiral.

Screw in a circle starting at the end through which the sink was filled with sintepon. Strengthen each curl with stitches.

Now attach the body of the cochlea to the "house".Then make a nose. The part is sewn over the edge and tightened. In the resulting bag pour the filler.

Nose pinned to the muzzle, then sewed. Draw eyes and mouth.

Rotate the mouth with red thread or traverse with paint. Make hair out of down or wool.

Install the snail on the board, attaching it with glue. On the head you can make a cap, put on a scarf( in the picture it is connected with knitting needles).Attach a gift box to the seashell.
