  • For the farsighted

If you were long-sighted first, and now you have a so-called senile vision, where you need to use bifocal glasses, then you need to know that this process is developing extremely quickly and you should not lose time. Remember one wise saying that I once read: "What a wonderful thing is to do nothing and then relax after that!" For you, palming will be a more important element of training than for other types of visual impairment, with the exception of blindness. Despite this, you continue more often than other people, to be in a hurry. At the same time, you take on too many things, so that you have time for palmming or relaxing.

The use of the eyes in a relaxed state, once they achieve this feeling, will take no more time from you than using them with tension to strengthen your vision. Yes, and you, and your eyes in this state will last longer. Palming shows you the way to achieve such a state, gives you a feeling that you, in particular, need to study hard. You do not need to change your personality, you just need to get rid of tension. Then you are fully moving forward with renewed vigor and less fatigue. You have to learn one important thing-to learn to look. Your eyes have sharp eyesight, they can see anything in the distance, but it's not worth it. And one more thing, which, at first glance, may seem contradictory to what has just been said - you have to learn to observe. One of my students daily walked past a large palm tree on the lawn on the side of the school. It was a tall palm tree, casting a shadow on one side of the school. I asked her if she noticed this palm tree. She answered in the negative. I asked her to look at the palm tree the next time she passed by. For four days, she went 2-3 times a day past the palm trees and still did not pay attention to it. Another example: a long-sighted woman who went somehow with me on a trip by car, aimed at developing a vision. She immediately stared before her, not seeing anything of what we were passing. I asked: "Did you see any horses running along the racetrack we just passed?" "Hippodrome?" She wondered. "I did not see any racetrack!" She had good eyes that did not look, which means she did notseen. The reason for this is that the eyes do not move;a close look. To teach the eyes to move mentally( mentally, in the mind) is no less useful than teaching them to move physically.
