We sew without the patterns: 5 models of dresses

Agree that the construction of the pattern - the occupation is very time-consuming and not everyone is able to do it. A huge number of measurements, badges and letters - how in all this not to get confused? And besides, you need to have good drawing skills, so that the pattern does not turn out to be a curve, and the product, sewn on it, did not turn out to be skewed. But what about those who do not have such skills, but wants to pamper themselves with beautiful fashionable clothes? In this article, we sew beautiful patterns of beach dresses that are not in the holiday season and can also be used as home clothes.

All dresses are suitable for any type of shape and size. The only thing you need is a shirt of your size. Skills that will be needed - the ability to fold the fabric exactly twice and make a stitch on the sewing machine. For dresses it is better to choose a fabric that does not "crumble" and on which "arrows" do not form, it should be well draped with soft folds.

Dress №1

From the fabric we draw and cut out two rectangles. This is in front and back, and they can be exactly the same. The width of them will depend on your idea: do you want the dress exactly the shape or free, forming folds, long or short.

Grind the side seams as shown in the picture.

We wrap the upper edge of both the transmission and the back, pull the tape into the hole.

Dress number 2

In this model, we also make a rectangle. The length of it should be 2-3 meters and depends on how free you see it, how thick it should be in its folds and also on your size. The height of the rectangle should be the same as the length of the future dress. The seam of this variant is only one and it is on the back.

In the center of the dress you need to make an incision of about 5-10 cm. This is the depth of the decollete.

On the whole upper edge of the rectangle we make the link, into which we insert the tapes. At the back of their ends are attached to the seam, and in front come out of the incision curtain on the neckline and when wearing just tied around the neck. The same tape can be tied under the breast.

As you can see, sewing clothes without patterns is not a complicated process.

Dress number 3

For this dress we need a T-shirt. Apply it to a sheet of paper, circle and cut. Fold the resulting pattern twice, it must be symmetrical.

Important note: if you have large breasts or if you are late in pregnancy, the front of the dress should be longer, as shown in the picture.

Carve out the pattern, sweep the seams and try on the dress. If everything is in order, then you can sew.

You can treat the armhole and throat with a skew-eyebick or simply tuck the fabric inward and stitch it.

Dress number 4

This dress consists of two squares - one for the transfer and one for the backrest. From the fabric we cut out a rectangle, which will connect them in itself. That is, the length of this cut must be twice the width.

Fold a rectangle across exactly in the middle, draw a line. It will become the line of shoulders of this dress. In the middle of the line, make a neck, carving a rectangle, an oval, or simply making a cut.

We sweep side seams before fitting. After that you can stitch it clean.

Dress number 5

For this model the fabric can be used and more rigid. It is sewn according to the example of the previous version, only simple sleeves and a neck V-shaped are added.

Sleeves are sewn from rectangular pieces of fabric, the size of which you determine at your discretion.
