What can your pulse tell about?
Pulse - a mirror of all the processes taking place in the body. The discovery of the pulse and its diagnostic value is attributed to the Chinese doctor of antiquity Vian Qiao. This remarkable physician believed that by pulse, its characteristics, one can judge everything that happens in the body.
Chinese scientists began to distinguish 24, 33, 60 or more types of pulse, determining the general state of the body or the presence of a disease.
The method of pulse testing has been constantly improved. The state of the pulse was studied and under each of the three fingers superimposed on the radial artery.
"Concentration point" of the pulse is the radial artery of the hand. The pulse should be examined by applying 3 fingers at 3 of its points. This takes into account the depth of its "lying", "cheerfulness", the presence of "type of pulse".
It is advisable to measure the pulse on the right and left hands alternately. This, according to Chinese doctors, gives more detailed information.
In order for the reader to imagine what difference in pulse rate occurs in humans, we present the list of 24 types of pulse detected by Chinese physicians:
• superficial;
• onion;
• free;
• Full;
• string;
• Stressed;
• large;
• invisible;
• deep;
• gradual;
• viscous;
• rare;
• weak;
• long;
• hasty;
• short;
• empty;
• freezing;
• thin;
• Intermittent;
• strong;
• moving;
• Frequent;
• excessive.
Measuring your pulse in a different state of health, a person will be able to learn to distinguish the quality of his pulse, learn about the alarm signals in a state of health.
For example, a healthy person regale a pie with meat, it took 2-3 hours, and the pulse begins to "fragment".There is no vomiting, but a rapid pulse warns of the danger of poisoning.
If a person has high magnetosensitivity and suddenly there is a magnetic storm that affects blood pressure lowering( especially in people with low blood pressure - hypotension), then the heart rate immediately starts to increase, maintaining the optimum blood pressure for a person.
With a sharp increase in blood pressure, the pulse character also changes - a person feels his tense strokes.
The pulse rate varies throughout the day. Most researchers have the highest pulse rate recorded at 10, and also at 18 hours.
The maximum increase in pulse after exercise is observed in 13-14 hours - these hours are the most unfavorable for physical exertion. At such times, do not massage, balneotherapy and steam bath, because the temperature sensitivity is increased.
The lower pulse rate in relation to the average daily rate was recorded at 13-14 hours, and also at night hours( from 3 to 4 hours).
The pulse rate of each person is individual. The rarest pulse is 32 beats per minute, and the highest frequency occurs with paroxysmal tachycardia or after very high physical exertion - up to 200 beats per minute.
With systematic training in physical culture or sports, the pulse at rest gradually becomes less frequent - this is an indicator of the body's fitness.
The heart rate is affected by different phases of the moon. It turned out that in both boys and girls the maximum pulse rate is observed in the new moon, and the minimum at the full moon. Obviously, this is due to a change in the gravitational effect.
Measuring the pulse rate in women and men, scientists have established the existing differences - in women, the pulse rate is higher than that of men.
