We choose the planting material

Preparing the tip of pineapple for planting

Remove several rows of lower leaves and gently cut the bottom until the appearance of the root kidney. Then it is necessary to dry the top. To do this, the crest is suspended in an upright position and is kept in this condition for 2 weeks. But if you do not want to wait so long, you can simply cut the slice with a weak solution of potassium permanganate, powder powder or activated carbon powder and leave to dry for 5 to 6 hours. For planting we need a pot of small diameter. Focus on the diameter of the tuft. The pot should be slightly wider. At the bottom of the pot must be a hole to drain excess water. How to take care of?

It's important to constantly keep the temperature at 25-27 degrees Celsius. If the summer with this problem does not arise, then in winter, the plant may lack the heat. For the winter, our pineapple can be put on the battery, after putting a plate on it.

After 1.5, a maximum of 2 months, the plant should already start up the roots. If new leaves appeared on the stem, everything went as it should. With the advent of new leaves, the "micro-greenhouse" can be removed.

For successful pineapple cultivation, you need to maintain the correct watering regime. First you need to prepare water. Pineapple should be watered with warm( about 30 degrees) rain or melt water. In extreme cases, a simple, pre-boiled water is also suitable. Water should not only land around the plant. It is important that water gets inside the outlet, as well as in natural conditions.
