How to make a brooch-bouquet with your own hands: read our master class on the example of a vintage wedding bouquet

The usual bouquets that we receive on holidays are quickly withering, and they have to be thrown out. Unlike real flowers, the brooch-bouquet will remain with you, and for a long time will please, reminding of the happy moment of your life. You can buy such a bouquet, but as a rule, it is not cheap, but if you make it yourself, it will cost you several times cheaper.

Master class on a vintage brooch-bouquet

It's clear that to make a brooch-bouquet with your own hands, you need the basic material for creating such a bouquet, which are brooches. They are required from 40 to 70, it all depends on the size of the product. Immediately the question arises: "Where to get such quantity of ornaments?" There are several variants.

Firstly, you can refer to family and friends, for sure many of them will have brooches that lie in a box without any work, they do not want to wear, and it's a pity to throw out.

Secondly, you can buy jewelry in online stores in bulk, there they are and so cheaper, but in this version you get another discount.

Third, go over your old jewelry. It is possible that you will find a bunch of earrings, accessories for hair, necklaces and other things. Such decorations in the bouquet will look the same as the brooch.

Additional materials

• Wire for stems of flowers from brooches. It should not be very thin, and its amount should be large enough, about 1 m for each brooch.
• Flowers from any fabric and colors, all of your choice.
• Satin ribbon for decoration of the bouquet stems.
• Various pearls and beads for decoration.

Creating flowers from the brooch

Take any of the brooches and fasten the buckle, you can put on the glue so that it does not exactly unbuttoned. Take a piece of wire length of 50 cm and fold in half, wrapping it around the buckle, stones or crystals of a brooch.

Twist the two halves of the wire together. It is important that the flower does not hang on its stem. Therefore, if the brooch is large enough, then instead of one stem, it should be two. If this is the case, then twist the two stems together.

Now attach the wire in the same way to each brooch and decorative flower.

Decorating from beads

Take wire 50 cm long and thread 30 pearls on it. Such decorative elements need to make 5-6 pieces. In the process of working on a bouquet, you can do it again, if necessary.

Connecting parts together

Collect bunches from brooches, artificial flowers and decorative elements, as shown in the photo. In the center of everyone there should be a rose.

After all the bunches are formed, collect them in one large bouquet. And for fixing, the ends of the wire need to wrap another one along the entire length.

And the final touch is the decoration of the bouquet's leg. Wrap it with satin ribbon and secure. A wedding vintage bouquet of brooches is ready.
