Well, in order not to complicate the work as a pattern for the rug I chose "Chessboard".This scheme is simple enough for execution and consists in alternating the front and back loops.

Pattern pattern:

We will use rapport from 6 persons in knitting.loops and 6 out.etc., our chess players will have 6 rows in height.

Advice that the edges of the knitting are not twisted when knitting: the first loop of the row needs to be removed without tying, and the last loop - with a back loop.

Materials:

• Knitting needles 4,5 mm
• 500 g yarn( about 950 meters)
• scissors

Work progress:

We sew 180 knitting needles. The edging of our rug will be made with a pearl pattern. Scheme:

The first 6 rows are pearl knitted.

Beginning with the 7th row, go to the main plaid figure. Do not forget that the edging will be along the perimeter of the whole plaid, so the first 6 stitches are knitted according to the scheme: 1 persons., 1 ap.- repeat 2 more times. Next, the main pattern begins: 6 persons.p, 6 ap.- Repeat until the moment when there are no 6 loops left on the spokes. We again we sew them with pearl viscous: 1 persons.p., 1 dep.- Repeat 2 times. The next 5 rows we sew similarly.

13 series we also start with 6 loops of pearl viscous, then changes the order of the loops in order to obtain a chess pattern: 6 ancestors, 6 persons.p. We knit again until the end of the row, until there are 6 loops left that are knitted according to the "pearl pattern" pattern.

The subsequent knitting of a rug consists in repetition of 7-12 and 13-18 rows.

When the dimensions of your future rug reach the parameters you need, tie another 6 rows of pearl viscous and close the hinges.
