Senna. The laxative effect of the plant taken is usually observed on the 2nd-3rd day, with the dosage to be individualized.
You should also know that when applying the plant, side effects are possible: abdominal pain, bloating( flatulence), marked increase in intestinal peristalsis( loud rumbling in the abdomen). The buckthorn is alder-shaped. When using drugs based on buckthorn, side effects are possible - abdominal pain, loose stools. Use the plant usually in the form of a decoction, and also in the form of a liquid or dry extract.
Warning! It is often heard that the use of herbs is absolutely harmless. Many believe that if the "chemistry" should be feared, then medicinal plants can be taken uncontrolledly long. This is not true. Many so-called chemical preparations are the extraction of plants from the active principle. Therefore, like other medicines, infusions and decoctions of medicinal plants can be consumed at recommended doses and within the recommended time. The course of treatment with a single medicinal plant or one collection of herbs is on average 2 weeks;then either change the plant( harvest), or take a break;prolongation of the period of treatment should be agreed with the doctor.
