Chronic gastritis treatment with folk remedies
General description of the disease
Chronic gastritis is a disease characterized by a common or focal chronic inflammatory process of the gastric mucosa and the gradual development of gastric atrophy. Chronic duodenitis as an independent disease in childhood is extremely rare. In the majority of children, chronic duodenitis and functional changes of the duodenum develop secondary against the background of the disease of other digestive organs and especially the stomach( gastroduodenitis, pyloroduodenitis, chronic gastroduodenitis).Chronic gastritis and chronic gastroduodenitis in children begin, as a rule, with functional disorders against the background of dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system, which ultimately leads to pronounced morphological changes.
The incidence of HG ranges from 4.9 to 26.3 per 1,000 children, while HDG ranges from 5.2 to 45.7 per 1,000 children, continuing to grow steadily in recent years.
Clinic, diagnosis and treatment of
The leading signs of chronic gastritis are pain and nausea in the morning or after eating. Pain occurs during or immediately after eating. In most cases they are aching, mild, sometimes intense. In addition, children complain of headache, weakness, rapid fatigue, sometimes dizziness, decreased appetite.
When you feel your stomach, you determine the local muscle tension and tenderness in the right half of the abdomen above the navel or at the junction of the ribs with the sternum, sometimes in the navel. In chronic gastroduodenitis, the pain is more persistent, localized, except for the pyloroduodenal zone, also in the right hypochondrium. Almost all children experience nausea, often eructations, heartburn, a tendency to constipation. Expressed manifestations of autonomic dysfunction: rapid fatigue, decreased mobility, headache, sleep disturbances, local hyperhidrosis. The diagnosis is made on the basis of a combination of clinical data, history, laboratory and instrumental data( primarily after endoscopic and radiographic studies).
The main principle of treatment is the creation of the most suitable general regime and diet. Of great importance in therapy are the calm environment created around the patient, and physical peace. When the process is aggravated, a mechanically and chemically sparing diet is prescribed. Of the non-drug treatment methods are shown primarily reflexology, psychotherapy, physiotherapy. From drugs used gastrointestinal drugs that increase the stability of the mucous membrane of the stomach and duodenum, enveloping agents, antacids, psychotropic and vegetotrophic agents, vitamins, sometimes carry out substitution therapy with enzymes.
