Getting ready for the baby
The following tentative list is designed to help you be more organized when you are preparing to accept a new little man into your family. Do not be scared by the long list of "things" for the child. Almost everything that your child really needs, you already have - warm milk, warm hearts, strong hands and infinite patience - and it's all worthless.
For dowry and nursery
First wardrobe:
• Four terry sliders.
• Three pairs of pins or
socks.
• Two blankets for the street.
• Three shorts.
• Three light top suit
( shirts or dresses). For growth:
• Four thin overalls( with buttons in the step seams).
• Two fabric bibs( to be washed).
• Clothing on the way out, according to age and occasion.
Seasonal clothing:
• Two hats: panadka
with fields of light fabric;more dense, covering the ears of the cap in cold weather.
• Two sweaters, thickness
for the season.
• One warm overall with solid mittens in cold weather.
• Two blankets, thickness
for the season.
For changing diapers:
• 30-36 tissue diapers( we recommend contacting the diaper wash service).
• Pins or clamps for diapers.
• Three waterproof panties worn over diapers( or all-in-one diapers that already have a protective waterproof layer).
• Diaper bucket
( usually issued by the diaper wash service).
• A pack of diapers
( diapers).
• Cotton balls, cotton swabs.
• Disposable wipes
with impregnation / tissue wipes.
• Cream from diaper
rashes and diaper rash( with zinc oxide).
• Black and white carousel,
which is hung over the dressing table.
Feeding accessories:
For artificial feeding:
• Four bottles of 120 ml
.
• Four teats, orthodontic.
• Accessories: tweezers, measuring cups, spoons, can opener, brush for bottles, pan for sterilization.
For breastfeeding:
• Three bras for a nursing mother( with removable cups).
• Breast pads, not plastic.
• Bathrobes for feeding.
• Bag for the child.
• A footstool for the
to put its feet on it during feeding.
For sleep:
• Two rubberized waterproof substrates( oilcloths).
• Three sheets for the cradle.
• Three flannel blankets.
• Soft, lightweight quilt.
• Cradle blankets, thickness according to season.
Bathroom accessories:
• Two soft sponges( washcloths).* • Two terry towels
with hoods.
• Soft soap and shampoo.
• Baby bath.
• Children's hair brush and comb.
• Children's nail scissors or nippers.
Toiletries and medication for the first two months:

• Soft soap for

• Vaseline.
• Rectal thermometer.
• Antiseptics for the care of the umbilical wound.
• Nasal aspirator( ear syringe may be used).
• Bactericidal ointment.
• Cotton balls, cotton buds.
• Acetaminophen.
• Evaporator, or Vaporizer.
• Flashlight, spatulas for fixing the tongue when examining the oral cavity( if there is a sore throat, ulceration, thrush, etc.).
• A pipette with a scale, syringe or spoon for measuring medication.
Furniture and fittings for children:
• Wicker cradles with a top or cradle.
• Cot
and accessories.
• Dressing table for
or table with soft padding.
• Sheets for the exchange table, two quilted substrates.
• Rocking chair.
• Wardrobe for storing laundry.
Walking Accessories:
• Bag-sling to carry a baby in it.
• Car seat.
• Blanket for automotive
seats.
• Cushion under the head for the
car seat.
• Bag for diapers.
What to bring to the maternity hospital
Maternity clothes:
• Two old bathrobes( good if they have stains).
• Two night shirts.
• Clothing free
cut for return home.
• Slippers or slippers that can be washed.
• Two pairs of warm socks.
• Two bras for
feeding.
• Bathrobe for feeding.
To facilitate childbirth:
• Your favorite pillow.
• Hours to detect the
duration of bouts.
• Player and cassette with your favorite music.
• Massage lotion.
• Paint roller to scratch your back.
• Favorite food: lollipops, honey, dried and fresh fruit, juices, granola, sandwiches for the child's father.
Toiletries:
• Soap, deodorant,
shampoo, hair conditioner( avoid perfume, they can cause trouble for the baby).
• Brush for hair, hair dryer, styling products.
• Toothbrush, toothpaste.
• Sanitary napkins
( issued in the maternity hospital).
• Cosmetics.
• Glasses or contact lenses.
Children's clothing to return home:
• One swing out.
• Socks or booties.
• Blanket to swaddle.
• One top shirt or dress.
• Bonnet.
• Warm overalls( for example, on a sintepon) and a thick blanket if the weather is cold.
• Children's car
seat.
• Diapers for returning home.
Other accessories:
• Camcorder and camera.
• Insurance policy.
• A full handful of little things for phone calls.
• Your notebook.
