New Year toy-goat out of felt with their own hands with a pattern

Soft, tender to the touch, bright in appearance, toys are very fond of needlewomen. Especially popular are New Year's toys made of felt. You can make a decoration for herringbone, like the herringbone, thematic images of the symbols of the coming year. The symbol of 2015 is a wooden blue( green) goat or sheep. Sewing a toy of such animals is nice and easy, it turns out quite nice and soft and accompanies you throughout the Christmas holidays.

As we have decided before, it will be a goat.

From the pattern it is clear that we will need 2 details of the trunk, 2 details of the head and 4 details of legs and hooves.

Necessary materials

We need to prepare the following items for the realization of the conceived toy: velvet black paper, felt of white, brown and light brown color, thread, holofayber and glue.

Running a product

Take a piece of light brown felt and cut on it two parts of the trunk,

The head will be white, for this we cut it out on a white felt.

To get beautiful legs, we will need to stitch two zippers with a zigzag stitch in brown and white. We cut out the legs from the received material. Horns can be cut in any form, as you imagine them, it's better that they are brown. Eyes are also cut from a brown round felt felt. From the black velvet paper we represent the cilia for the goat and the future spout.

Legs along the perimeter should be sewn with a winding or looped seam, leaving one side not sewn, stuffing the legs with holofayber.

Stitch both parts of the trunk along the edges with a large seam with dark threads, insert the legs at the bottom and continue the firmware. Also, as in the case of the legs, we leave a piece of a non-sewn trunk, we hammer the body with a holofiber and sew it to the end.

The result is a detail - a part of the goat - a body with legs.

We continue our work.

We sew two scraps of the head together, also with large stitches with a white thread, leave a small piece not sewn, we slam the head through it with the same holofayber, also leave a place for the horns. The horns are left empty, stitching them just around the perimeter with large stitches of brown, most suitable for the color of felt. Sew the horns to the head in the same way as we did with the legs.

We give the face of our goat a nice look - we sew a shaggy brown bang, although you can determine the color yourself, pre-prepared cilia, eyes and a nose.

It only remains to sew the head to the trunk.

You can decorate our beautiful goat embroidered on the body with a heart, you can glue cotton, like a fluff, you can also add a bit of beads, in general, show your fantasy to the fullest, do not overdo it, everything should be in moderation. So, actually, our beautiful goat is ready.
