Game for pupils Small biathlon
Biathlon is a sport where you combine skiing and shooting at the goal. In the first variant, the shooting is replaced by throwing snowballs at the target. Three small portable flaps with a size of 50X50 cm with a height of 1.5 m are manufactured. After choosing a suitable site for the game, a ski track with a length of approximately 600 m is laid along it and marks the start and finish at its ends. The entire distance is divided into three identical stages. At each stage in 7-10 m from the ski-track a portable guard is installed, next to which one linear judge with an alarm flag is exposed. Such a judge is also at the finish. Teams must be different from each other with ribbons attached to the headdress.
According to the general signal, the first numbers in the teams( they can be from two to four) simultaneously start. Having reached the end of the first stage, they make a stop, mold snowballs and throw them into the target. The one who managed to get into the shield, continues the way to the next stage, and the second number of his team gets right to leave the start. If the player does not get into the target, he throws a snowball again. The same thing happens in other intermediate stages. Everywhere the further way for the skier opens only after he managed to hit the target with a snowball.
Each time the performer leaves the stage, the line judge flags the flag( one, two, three) to signal which command the path is open. A judge may have three small colored flags( by the color of the ribbons of the playing teams).
The team that will win the race before the others wins.
If it's difficult to sculpt snowballs with loose snow, you can throw in pre-prepared rag balls, cones, pebbles. It can be agreed that if a player does not hit the target twice, he must pass an additional 30 m( loop) path section, and only then the path is opened to the next player.
You can conduct a simple relay race between two or four teams with a straight line( 30-40 m) on the skis, throwing snowballs at the target and returning back to your column.
For the eighth-year students it will be interesting to take biathlon with a wind rifle behind and shooting at inflatable balls, which are usually 15 m from the side of the road. Participants make five shots and return to their team, handing the rifle to the next participant of the biathlon. For each miss team is awarded five penalty seconds. The team that wins in less time wins.
