Building a sand castle
Many people wonder why their sand castles, built with a bucket of wet sand, never look like castles built on beaches by architectural geniuses. It turns out that there are some very important principles that you need to know if you want to build a real, durable sand castle.
1. First of all, water here has the same importance as sand, when it comes to the construction of a sand castle. The sand must be very wet. Water is what holds the sand together.
2. Secondly, sand density is of great importance. Density allows water to bind sand.
3. And finally, making pies and bricks from sand by hand is probably better than using buckets and molds. Very often the sand sticks to the mold when it is dumped from there.
4. Moisten the sand by typing it in a bucket with water, or dig it until you reach the water. Find a place that is not very close to the tide band. I prefer plots that do not reach the tide, nevertheless they are not far from the surf, so I can dig wet sand and easily extract water.
5. Use walls and towers with bricks and patties. Walls - stacking each other bricks, and towers - pies. In the base lay products of large sizes, and as the tower increases in height, reduce their size.
6. When forming bricks and patties, you should compact them well using both hands. Slightly shake the product so that the sand is soaked with water before laying it on the tower.
7. Add more wet sand to attach the walls and turrets together.
8. Once you have built the basic structure, align it and proceed with the details: embrasures, windows, gates, steps, arches and loopholes. You can buy special tools for working with sand or use products made of plastic, small curved sticks, straws. Start on top and gradually get down down.
9. Certainly, that your locks turned out interesting, you need three things: time, experience and patience. But here you are on the beach, what else is needed? Children?
