    Almost the whole evening spent discussing the picture. The father and his son vied with each other many scenes from Chapaev. And no longer on the screen - right here in the room, the river, warmed by the midday sun, again splashed, in which the Red Army soldiers bathed. Chapaev dashed swiftly into the burka that was flying behind his shoulders. Again and again went on the offensive, and then panicked the ranks of the cappelian army under the onslaught of the red fighters.

    In each episode - a piece of a big, troubling, glorious history of the country - now lived Igorek, tomorrow's first-grader. Mother seemed - in less than six years the son was able to think, in his own way, of course, about the significance of the past day for the present and the future. A chain of new thoughts flashed through the child's head. Perhaps for the first time, for Igor, real tangibility, weight of such expressions as "whiteguards", "counterrevolution", "civil war" were found. A little differently after that memorable evening, he perceived the words "revolution", "red cavalry" and many others, which used to sound for him simply beautiful, though slightly disturbing imagination phrases.

    Natalia Vladimirovna was not mistaken in her seemingly naive, unsubstantiated reasoning. This was confirmed by one fact. However, it's better to start with some details. ..

    A few days later Igor, having fixed behind his back an old black shawl, went with the "sword" in the attack. Glancing into the room where chairs were stacked in the corner, because of which Igor "scribbled" from the machine gun, Natalya Vladimirovna said seriously:

    - Oh, my protector! Who are you shooting at?

    Son for a moment broke away from the machine gun, built from the details of a broken child's chair, swung over his head with a sword and without a smile on his face, he replied:

    - I beat whites. For Chapaeva. ..

    We have no right to downplay or exaggerate the impression of every film or performance viewed by the son or daughter. A certain trace in the soul of children, they, of course, leave. And the more noticeable, the more important, the more emotionally their content for the child. It is not by chance that almost from the school bench an axiom is mastered the formula that theatrical art and the art of cinema are a powerful means of educating a person. The impact of art, convinces life at almost every step, nothing to replace. Particularly effective is the influence of cinema on the child, on the development of his patriotic feelings, on the initiation of civic-mindedness, if the film is supplemented by a relaxed, interested discussion of it among the closest, among the family.

    "I was very fond of it when, in the evening, together with my father, mother and Olya, my younger sister, we talked about the film just seen. Usually, Grandma joined us. It was so good! The next day it seemed to me often that yesterday the picture was "scrolling" for all of us again. And much of it was seen more clearly, it became more clear. Probably, because we, as a rule, touched a lot of details about which during the viewing of the film they simply did not think. I was an independent party, I had my opinion and the right to defend it. .. "

    These lines are taken from the materials of the first year students survey of the Moscow Regional Pedagogical Institute. In fact, even yesterday's schoolchildren were offered various topics on topics, including the films seen in childhood, the importance of an exchange of views in the family after the film sessions.

    The answers are, of course, different. But out of 250 questionnaires, 216 contained records about the same as those given above. Neither more nor less - 86 percent! You can not listen to them. Such a high uniformity serves as the basis for very serious generalizations.

    With age, a person begins to look at life more objectively, more broadly. Actually, that's why the point of view on the role of cinema in our life was not schoolchildren, but first-year students. Analysis of the results of the study clearly demonstrated: children do not just remember the film for a long time, which in itself is already a lot. Participation in its discussion becomes for the child an original work of reason, a struggle of emotions, passions. And are there no favorable conditions for a certain push for revision-if, of course, it is required-of the views, judgments already available to the future citizen, to the emergence and consolidation of new moral criteria? In such conversations, children come in contact with the spiritual values ​​of adults, their thoughts, feelings, all those things, from which the firm foundations of the future citizenship form on the brick, which contributes to the maturation of the patriotic man.

    The society, passing to the younger generation its culture, is considered to be ours, thereby forming it accordingly. Right. But why, for all that, the obvious truth is forgotten: society is, after all, you and me? We, the parents, are also a part of

    society, besides the most important for the socialization of the child, that is, to bring him to the world of ideas, attitudes, views that are characteristic of society as a whole. We are always close to our own son or daughter, always and in all of themsupport. So, first of all, we must stand at the roots of the formation in the young soul of high patriotic feelings. The more systematic, more thoughtful our experience, the stronger the confidence that in our civil and moral decisions our children will choose the right path.

    . .. Another movie was viewed. Interesting in design, dynamic, exciting adventure canvas and adults and children. And we are carried away from the very first shots, hardly read the name filled with romance of the sea - "Single swimming".Many episodes excite, give birth in the viewer energy of action, deed.

    The way home from the cinema runs along the alleys of a park that has become quiet in the winter half-asleep. Dad, mom, Igor and his friend from the next apartment, frowning Valerka, first go close group. They are silent. But soon the boys outrun their parents. And instantly reincarnated. Both are already active participants in the operation, in which the selfless actions of our landing forces landed on the island prevented the launch of a provocative missile on peaceful ships. Remember those frames?

    Valery rushes from behind the bushes, bypassing the transformer box on the left, Igor - on the right. Ignoring the rare visitors of the park, they rush forward. Both have a single impulse, born not cooled yet after watching the painting with emotions and inexhaustible boyish imagination.

    Looking at the guys, Natalia Vladimirovna wants to settle the boys a little. And then he catches himself on the thought that, perhaps, it is better to dispense with remarks. What for? And hardly even a strict ban can extinguish the childish enthusiasm. Like her husband, she understands perfectly well that for Igor and Valerka the film is still going on. Overstepping the scope of the screen, he absorbed into his orbit all that was in sight. Not only did he subordinate the guys to themselves - they now live one life with his heroes.

    Well, this is a kind of regularity. In principle, any film ends for children is not immediately.

    Especially interesting. For a while, boys and girls almost feel the screen characters next to themselves, look at their actions, take a lot of things.

    Unfortunately, we, the adults, often miss the opportunity to follow our own son or daughter, talk with them, help to understand more deeply the theme that their cinema was stirring. Is it really very difficult? And do we not lose in such situations because of our inattention or, if you like, laziness, much of what would be a good help in educational work?
